A new partnership has been formed that could observe the debut of the next generation of the casinos. DeClub, a casino management firm out of Macau, has connected with Malta-based investment firm Wide Rich worldwide business to bring blockchain and gaming closer together.

According to a company press release, DeClub suggests that Wide Rich wants to buy the gaming business to construct the”world’s first blockchain-based casino gaming pulse with completely integrated online and land-based casinos.” To finance the purchase, Wide Rich is offering an initial coin offering (ICO), which it hopes will allow it to draw up to $1 billion.

At a white paper regarding the undertaking, Broad Rich states,”The tokenization of processors, casinos and their surrounding entertainment service providers are going to have the ability to build a pan-gambling business ecosystem collectively, so that people with varying business requirements — in tourism, to business meetings, to purchasing — can all gain easy and cost -effective access to personalized and prestigious services in their mobile devices.”

During the ICO, Broad Rich will issue the”DEC” token, providing purchasers rights to host and put money into cash lending pools. At precisely exactly the same time, DeClub provides its token, the”NNC,” that are stablecoins which may be redeemed so as to cover goods or services at casinos.

Macau has a fairly rigorous anti-ICO policy. The Monetary Authority of Macau prohibits banks and other financial institutions from providing services to any entity in the crypto industry; however, private-sector ICOs aren’t included in the ban.

This is not the first time that someone tried to unite crypto together with casinos. Dragon Corp introduced an ICO in 2017 that sought to raise $500 million because of its Dragon Coin, a part of that was to be used to build a floating casino. Those plans, but never made it off the dock following the principal contractor backed out.

There is no reason to expect this latest project to advance, either. Before this season, Macau’s gaming regulator said that cryptocurrency wouldn’t be accepted as a way of currency in Macau. If Wide Rich wants to find out their job become successful, they will need to find a different location, or risk the fury of more than a few investors when the job stalls.
