Correction of prominent ears. Protruding ears correction
Correction of prominent ears can be done at any age. It may be easier at younger ages because the ear cartilage is not as stiff and can be molded with more ease.
This is a case of a beautiful young girl who had protruding ears and ear asymmetry (uneven ears).
The goal in such a case is to not only correct the prominent ear but also try to match it with the other ear.
Every case of prominent ears is different. If you look at her ear on the side view she has what is called a cup ear. It looks like a cup because her ear cartilage does not have the proper folding. This is what I corrected for her.
